It doesnt hurt...
Pinch yourself..that is about how much it hurts...
They stick a VERY small needle just under the skin and inject the medicine into your skin..It will make a little bubble on your skin and then you have to go back and get the results read.. it doesn't hurt...so don't worry...

It doesn't hurt badly at all. Plus, it's over in an instant! :) Personally, I think getting a paper cut is much more painful, and we all give ourselves paper cuts sometimes, right?
Also, it might help if you avoid looking at the needle or whatever thing is used to give the shot (it's been so long, I don't recall). But it seems like if you don't know what the "instrument" looks like, you'll feel less anxious.
Good luck! I know you'll be just fine. :)

i does not hurt at all. They don't even put the needle all the way in like they do for regular shots. I've worked in the Corrections and medical field for 10 yrs. so I get 1 once a year. It goes in your forearm at angle, it's simple.

technically it's not a shot, it's a test. A very small amount of stuff is injected barely under your skin. You hardly feel it.

no at all really: it is not a shot: the medicine is inserted under the skin in a tiny bubble.

Almost nothing to feel. Ask then to warm the stuff up (hold in your hand a minute) before they 'shoot you up' and it will be AZ as pie.

I've never had one so I don't know. But, knowing really won't help you. You'll still need to get it. So don't worry about it and just go get it done.
