What makes christians, jews, muslims, and other faiths believe that their God is THE GOD?
Why would a reasonable God make his presence known to a select group, giving this group an excuse destroy and conquer everyother civilization in the name of salvation?

Yes, I realize God wouldn't say: "OK, now go ahead and spread my word by any means necessary." However, he must have had some foresight of what would happen.

1) Would a lot more people be worshiping Quetzaquatl, probably.
2) Maybe I'm wrong, but it sounds like most faiths are talking about the same God, they just have different understandings of what He's like and give Him different names.
3) I don't think God gave the people the excuse to go wipe out other civilizations, I think the people used God as their excuse to do that.

yes the aztec gods have better names than jesus like tlaloc and quetzalcoatl and chalchtlicue and thay might not want to take over the planet like the christians

Yes we would and sacrificing people all day to make sure the Sun traveled across the heavens. Would control any population explosion.
