Oh, do not hold us guilty for our former sins! Let your tenderhearted mercies quickly meet our needs, for we are brought low to the dust. Help us, O God of our salvation! Help us for the honor of your name. Oh, save us and forgive our sins for the sake of your name.… Then we your people, the sheep of your pasture, will thank you forever and ever, praising your greatness from generation to generation.
Psalm 79:8-9,13 NLT

According to scripture he loves you no matter what you do, if you have asked for forgivness, than you are free, you should try to forget, if that seems hard it is just Satan trying to get in your brain. If you have more questions, ask a pastor, read the bible and pray.

Doesn't God say that your sins will be scattered as far as the East is from the West? Even more appealing was a sermon from a very lovely pastor I once had. When he was a young cocky seminary student he met a woman in his church who said that she could speak to God and get verbal answers. Of course he was like "yeah okay lady". But for fun he asked her if God would tell her what he had done the summer before school. He wouldn;t tell us what it was just that it was something he was very ashamed of. The lady came up to him the next week and told him she had asked God about it. So of course he wanted to know if God had ratted him out and asked the woman what God had said. She replied, "I forget". Now this pastor obviously still wasn't going to say that this woman was some kind of prophet but it did seem a consistant answer for Him. I think it is harder for us to except forgiveness then it is for God to actually forgive us. I think that's sad, after all Jesus died so we wouldn't have to worry so much about it.

God's people, the Isrealites were fickle with God. Sometimes they loved Him, sometimes they were stubborn towards Him. The Psalmist, David, was pleading to God to forgive their unrighteousness and praising Him for His goodness.
In the new convenant with Christ, God promises to remember our sins no more. (Hebrews, chapter 8)
And for His mercy, we should all give praises to the Lord for His greatness.
God bless

No, as long as your covered by the blood of Jesus Christ.
scripture tells us that once redeemed by the shed blood of Jesus Christ our sins are as far as the east is from the west. If you have never repented of your sins and asked God to forgive you then you can start to worry.

I Timothy 5:24 Some men's sins are open beforehand going BEFORE to JUDGEMENT ; and some men they follow after. I personally always ask God to forgive me of any sin or ANYTHING
that would keep me from walking close to him for guidance in this life. And I thank Him for doing that. So my sins go on before me to be seperated from me as far as the east is from the west. If He didn't, none of us would make it to Heaven. Please make Him the your guide and I know personally, if your sincere, He will.
We are He that saith he" I know Him ought himself also so to walk een as he walked. And to "let this same mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.

This question refers to who? Jesus says God will forgive all those who ask in his name. Which makes you wonder, when you have not lived life with his spirit as your guiding force, will you remember his name when asked? It is said that when Jesus conquored hell he found only 8 people who had not hardened their hearts against God, who then today continues to live in humility and a softness of heart toward God? Do we not hardened our hearts against God when we refuse to forgive others, and when we seek vebgence ourselves for imagined and real wrongs against ourselves?

If you sincerely ask for forgiveness, your sins are forgotten. We are the ones who keep bringing up past sins, not God. Great scripture.

Yes, unless a man be born again he will certainly not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Unless Jesus cleanses you from sin it will be held against you.
