you don't have to i guess, but having a smaller dinner than thats is 5 hours after so i'd say about 7 hours after you eat.

You should never, EVER have a heavy dinner at all! You should have a medium breakfast because you just woke up and it's not good to eat too much for starters, have a big lunch because we're more active during the afternoon (well, most are, not sure about people like you though) and have a medium or light dinner because the body works the less at night when it relaxes and big dinners cause worse snoring, so reconsider your eating! And manners, by the way.

It's never a good idea to eat a heavy dinner before sleeping.
Your last meal should be 3-4 hours before bedtime, so no snacking before bed. Your body needs to send blood flow to your stomach to help you digest food Your body cannot expect to rest when it has the job of digesting food.

Also, you set yourself up for stomach problems later. Stomach enzymes (acids) cause heartburn and digestion problems if you try to eat and then go to sleep shortly after.

This is a place where you ask a question, not demand information. At least that's what I thought. Oh, but that was my 'point of view' thought. Oh well.
