I've watched the shows on Court TV, I've listened to the legal experts, I've seen the interviews on Larry King.
The conclusion is: A convicted pedophile will NEVER change. It is a disease that will never leave the person. The ONLY way they can stop hurting children is by now being near children at all. Im so sorry, but it is the truth. Even if you think you have "changed" when you get near those children again, your REAL intentions will come back and you will strike again.
Do you want to help children? The best way YOU can help children is by not being near them or interacting with them at all.
My personal opinion is that pedophile's should be supervised for the rest of there life. Im sure you are now, but soon you will be free again (with restrictions). I think in some case's pedophie's deserve the death penalty.
Im sure your a teenager who's fooling around. Because you see . . . most people arn't idiots. If your parole officer is really watching this . . . he would have already given you the answer to your question . . . naturally you would have already asked him. This is a serious topic . . . don't fool around.
By the way . . . I saw your other questions. I thought you were 12 years old? hmmm? You said that in your previous question.
Dirty Liar. :-)

Rather u changed or not. The answer is NO. Once they see PEDOPHILE on that paper it's the end of the game. Plus nt many parents would be please to have a pedophile looking after their children. Sorry. :(
But if u don't mind me askin... why would u want to do that anyway. You are comprimising your "change". How can you be sure that the felling, I guess, you felt won't return?

The rates of recidivism of pedophiles is very high. They don't 'change'. Several states have passed new legislation that will allow life without parole or the death penalty for those convicted a second time. Hopefully you live in one of those states.

Yeah, well, if in fact this is a real question from a real pedophile - people don't get convicted just for looking, not touching. And if in fact you were in prison, you would have learned all of this in your sex offender treatment program. These kinds of jokes really aren't funny!!

Just curious man, and I applaud your honesty and rehabilitation, but given what you had to come out of (in terms of your behaviors) why would you want to run a daycare or coach children, I mean why dude? That's like me being a recovering alcoholic and wanting to try my hand at bartending--it's a 99.9% chance that sh*t won't work. Good luck, I'm sure you've paid your debts.

No. I don't think your'e allowed to. They ask those questions in the application, and you have to be honest. The law doesn't care whether you've changed or not. I wouldn't want a convicted pedophile looking after my two kids.

You will NEVER be allowed. Libality faced by anyone that let you. And belief that you cannot change. Since believe all learned behavior can get changed, will grant you that you are. There are huge amout of people with attornies that could set you up in a flash.

Your jokes aren't funny unless you find offending and/or angering people is funny! Also, you are violating Yahoo's guidelines of proper conduct, not to mention that your explicit language will draw the attention of the authorities! I take many things seriously, although I doubt you are, but I have no tolerance for harming children in any way! Please take some lessons from "THE WHAT SHOULD I DO...." guy and others to redefine your sense of amusement. They may be a little annoying, but it at least it is all in fun!

You need to be certified for both, and you would be denied if the charge is still on your record, and/or if you are registered as a sex offender. also, most mothers keep up to date on the sex offender website and wouldnt want thier child going to your daycare or being coached on your soccer team regardless, so i dont know how much business you'd recieve.

Absolutely no chance in hell. Also, if you've changed so much, why do you find the need to have a job being around kids? My suggestion, if you're so different and have changed so much, stay away from the kiddies.
