reason and purpose of living? to live life to the full and then die of course... after that? well depends if you believe there is an after that.
reason and purpose of religion? to gratify egos, and help people to avoid the truth on one hand, on the other, allows people to be manipulated on mass.
reason a purpose to this question? absolutely none!
