My youngest has gone off to college. I know what you are feeling. I just feel out of sorts. I miss them terribly! They grow up so fast. I guess you just have to find things to do to make you happy. It is okay to have a pity party for a while though! Good luck!

I'm the baby of the family and I couldn't be more excited to get back to school, I'm going to be a sophmore in High School and I'm in about a million activities and I can finally start taking upperlevel classes this year. My brother is going into his senior year and my other 2 brothers have already graduated, but they haven't left our town. When i graduate, i'm not even gonna stay in-state. I'll be the first to leave and I know it will be hard on my mom. but in the here and now, It's hard for me to see my friends leaving for college!!

sad. really i HATE MY SCHOOL. it is uber boring. they don't do anything that's not in the curriculum, which of course was drawn up by some semi-comatose parrot. the lockers are barf green, there are almost NO windows, and everyone is paranoid about sharp objects, they won't let us have plastic knives at lunch b/c some kid brought a gun to school however many centuries ago, and we might, I don't know, threaten to stab someone. They grade you badly unless your handwriting is super perfect. i really hate my school.
then again, i am looking forward to seeing all my loser semi-friends, and taking a language class (finally!) and being a total FASHION VICTIM.

I am one of the kids, so... I'm glad I get to go back to school and see my friends, and learn stuff again, but I'm sad that I'm also going to have to learn things I don't want to, and that I have less free time.

happy, but I have t find child care for after school before I get home. He is in middle school, not old enough by the state to be left alone, yet they have nothing in place to help us working parents!

I am sad, I miss them, but also glad because they enjoy school so much, so it makes me happy to see them happy.
