I personally after dialoguing with several arrogant racist Mexicans believe that if their parents came here illegallly they should be deported together [this only applies to first generation illegal immigrants]... if they make it to the second generation the original offenders should still be deported but their second generation children should however be honored as well as their parents but not grand parents.... I dub this the grand parent law... help me get it through congress....

I agree. If they want to go through the legal means to get here, I say they can have as many kids as they want. This crap about getting knocked up and then sneaking over the border to have a child here is just garbage. They should all be deported and be forced to get to the back of the line to get back in again.

First of all, Mexicans aren't the only illegals in this country. Secondly, if the illegal comes to this country and works does all he or she needs to do to become a resident and get a worker's permit then they have a right to live here, unfortunately most come here and do neither, but why should the children suffer their parents short commings who is to say that the children cannot become productive in this society and redeem the parents. I am the son of immigrants and yes my parents were illegal until they got thier permits to work and eventually got thier residencey, I was born here and I am not mexican. This country was built on the backs of immigrants, whether brought here by force or by decision. The only reson they should be deported is if the deal drugs, murder or get caught stealing and rape. The arrogant racist mexicans you spoke with are only speaking for a minority of the Hispanic population and they say it because they think the new ones are taking thier jobs away or making them look bad or worse they have money and they just hate the lower cast mexicans.

Congradulations...you've just managed to insult myself and my family

The children should be honored in this country because they were born on this soil. The parents and the family should all stay because these children need support. With all the wonderful(pure sarcasm) people in this country...I'm awfully sure that nobody will be willing to take care of them. Truth is, with the good amount of intelligent people who responded to this post, these kids don't stand a chance.
As a matter of fact all of you b*sterds are grandchildren or great grandchildren of illegal immigrants...you didn't own this land...the indians did. It's too bad the indians didn't bother kicking you out like they should of because we wouldn't be talking about this.

So if your b*tch *** is here...so should they. And for the idiot who said that they don't amount to nothing...neither will he!

These people come into your country for a better life and I think thats the biggest compliment a country can get. Those illegal immigrants are the ones serving and cutting you meat. They're the ones at the cash registers in a grocery stores. They clean your stupid filthy grocery stores and I know a thing a too about an absent parent who works 6 days a week to provided for his children. Without them, some corporate business' or even the smaller business' wouldn't be here. They...should I say we make your damn economy run because you "civilized citizens" are too lazy and too concerned about your overweight bodies to have any cchildren.

Thanks alot @ssh*les!

Personally... I agree with you. However, as the law stands right now if a child is BORN on American soil they are an American. Not only that... it's also free passage for the parents. So, to give you a terrible example that happens all the time, A Mexican woman sneaks over the border 7 or 8 months prego. she lays low until Jr. decides to come out, goes to a hospital (and in this country the hospital CAN NOT refuse medical treatment) and haas the kid. Catch 22... the INS could be standing there 1second after the kid is born they can't deport ANYBODY. I agree with you... I'd sign that petition. Or how about this one?

Everyone is welcome in our country... all you have to do is pass a GED test IN ENGLISH.. tahhh dahhh... all set. And if you're caught here illegally... .we put you in JAIL! I know, I know, it sounds crazy but I believe in punishing people who break the law.

Slainte,

I don’t believe you should pay for your parents crimes. If your parent get’s away with murder, many years later they find them guilty but they are all ready passed, should you hang? If they die in debt with no money, are you going to pay their bills? Such lofty people we have here. As far as people being “crazy” to want to move here, where else would you rather move? People talk about how it’s better somewhere else, usually it’s some place they’ve mearly vacationed, or heard some movie star say is so much better. Anyplace is great when you’re living in your villa. Europe is chuck full of unhappy immigrants and rioters, the country is going broke.

I disagree. As long as a person is paying taxes and contributing to the economy, they can be a citizen here. And, as the laws are now, if you're born here, you're a citizen, and YOU PAY TAXES. So that's fine by me. What bothers me are the people that come here, and start benefiting from the taxes everyone else pays. Not just social security or healthcare but having a fire and police department to protect you, road crews making and clearing roads for you etc. Those services come from taxes, and if you benefit from them at all you'd better be paying your fair share.

The only way I believe a child of an illegal should be considered a citizen is if one of the parents is a citizen. Too many illegals are having babies just so they can hide behind them to stay here.

"Thank God the Native Americans didn't have that policy when we all landed on this soil ! "

That was too funny!

Back to the topic! I think that the illegal immigrants need to go back to their own country and protest against their president, dictator, etc, etc about laws and humans rights for a better life. They need to stand up and be strong for their next generation instead of running.

If you are illegal so should your children be! That law about being born here makes you a citizen should be reworded to say if you are born here to two documented parents you are a citizen. If you are born here to even one illegal parent...deportation!

I don't think we should punish the children for the sins of their parents. Far too often we try to make the children or even great great great grand children responsible for the sins of their ancestors. We need to stop this attitude now. It only causes resentment and it's not fair.
