Very difficult question here.

For myself, I'd have to say, "no". If I'm not going to have great sex with someone, then they can be a friend.

But if I'm only going to have sex with one person for the rest of my life, it had better be *good*. Otherwise, you'll eventually find something that is good.

You can't repress your natural urges forever.

But I know a lot of people who married someone and the sex is mediocre. Some of these marriages stay together. I guess it's a question of how important sex is to you.

I've tried it the other way around... great sex, but we fought a lot and didn't like to do the same things. The sex got us through a lot of hard times, but in the end, it wasn't right and we parted.

If you think that this person is going to be the one you spend the rest of your life with then I would say you can always work up to great sex. If this person is fun to be around but you do not see a future then be friends but find somebody that can make you happy in more ways than one.

Do you find him sexually appealing? If the sex is mediocre because of his performance, then work on teaching him how to be a better lover. It is a lot easier to make a great man a great lover, than to make a great lover a great man.

Try improving the sex, or try falling in love, usually when u totally fall in love you stop caring about how good the sex is, or it might feel sooo much better because of special feelings. However, if none of this work, i suggest to try to find someone else... You never know when ur significant other might me knockin on ur door

Yes it is worth staying with that person.
Sex can be improved upon, but finding someone that can make you extremely happy as this person does only comes around so often.
Stay the course, be patient and practice practice practice!!!!

Sex isnt everything...dont get me wrong it is great when done right and you feel like you are part of something....trust me on this...It is also worst having someone you doesnt laugh, smile, talk or who doesnt do anything with you,and only realizes you are there when they want sex. That just makes you feel like crap after awhile...So be happy with what you got and work on the sex

Sex is only one portion of a relationship and that is easily improved! Get books, get kinky, do something both of you want to do or try fulfilling each others fantasies! But by God, keep someone who you are good with otherwise. "My wife and I love each other and have a good time together, but she likes reading romance novels and I like history books, should I get a divorce?" C'mon, it'll get better.

Communicate your issues that you have on the sexual front. That way your partner can learn what you like or dislike in this area! I have found that I like something one time, then based on my mood I could totally be different the next - it is totally about telling your partner what you are in the mood for. Go for it!!
