Actually, I have come to the observation that many people in Polls and Surveys thinks the opposite, as I have been accused of being a ten year old boy on occasion, and have seen questions pertaining to 'how many of you think all of the females on here are actually males, none of these hot chicks would actually be on Yahoo Answers' and things of that nature.
People are stoopid :)

Because people want to trust. It's innate, and unless people have become jaded by being misled in harmful ways, they're likely to keep on trying to trust as much as possible.
I'm overjoyed that you were believed. And sad for you because there are ways that you might be setting yourself up for never letting someone get to know the real you.

I knew she was you, because you posted a question about her being jealous of your girlfriend, but you are her 360 friend, and that did not seem normal. The things she was saying were odd, but most of all, you posted a question about a question she asked a moment after her, and that would require you to have known about it before it was asked. That among other things. Still a good one, but anyone who pays attention should have gotten that, but did not.
