4. The eyes of those who do not believe are made blind by Satan who is the god of this world. He does not want the light of the Good News to shine in their hearts. This Good News shines as the shining-greatness of Christ. Christ is as God is.

THis was a very good question. I don't beleive God protects you form ALL harm otherwise you would not be able to comfort and minister to others and be mature complet not lacking anything James 1:4.
God may not take all your harm away but He will give you the mercy, grace and strength to get through it.
One of the best sayings I received is this If God brings you to it , he will bring you through it and he always does.

Yes Ido .....it doesn't nean I won't be tempted ...
I have the protection of the Lord in time of trouble......Jesus doesn't protect us from all evil ....... we will be protected from it by knowing we have a choice to do it or not........and by the promise that if we believe and repent of our sins ,no matter how bad we may think they are , and resolve to believe , that we will be SAVED..........
Bad things happen to good people , look at Sept. 11 ..a few years ago..these people knew nothing about the disaster that would happen .some died instantly ...others probably suffered , but it is the condition of our soul ,,what is in out heart that counts..Our relationship with the Lord that ultimately counts ....He is our judge,,,, just be ready ..we never know what time we will be taken out of this world.....

Yes I have His protection...
I have Christ in my life because I have a personal relationship with Him. As a perk...I also get His protection!
I read His word so I have discernment over the lies of the enemy. How will you know a lie if you don't know the truth?

I am proud to say I do. We need it on here to proctect us from all of satan's disciples on this site. I wish they would name this site doubters and atheist, and leave the religious and spiritual to the ones that believe. I am not saying I am any better than they are in any way, but I would like a place to post my beliefs and religion without all the ridicule and insults. Thanks, and God bless.

I don't need Jesus to protect me from Satan. They are both lies.
There is no god. I spit in the face of the prophets, elijah, moses, jesus, muhammad, and all [save the atheistic prophets like Buddha] for being liars and charlatans all!

Thye Lord will not protect you from evil........his word says we will be percecuted for our beliefs. Being a christian doesnt save us from the evil of this world..............so hang on! But it does offer us forgivness of sins and gains us entrance into his holy place...heaven.
