f** a doctor or lawyer, where I live, doctors and lawyers won't survive.
girls like dudes that can protect them somehow
if a girl is in a situation where she ain't got no money and probably don't plan on workin, then a doctor or lawyer would be cool.
even if she is workin', likely she has to be a professional too to get with one of them, and that's a lot of pressure
doctor/lawyer is a status thing too, like a highly played NFL player e.g.
thug is a form of protection, and status too
when you live in a rough neighborhood, a thug really comes in handy
they also represent ultimate rebellion, and for those of us goin' up against the system or bravin' it out, a thug is known to not let you down
some girls like average Joe, with a decent profession and brings home the bacon, that's enough for them. And has a sensitiiive side too!
Most guys are a mix between Mr. NFL, thug, and Joe. You can't really narrow down the good qualities in a guy to just the profession alone you know. And it varies for us all.

No, but I would expect a husband to have an income **somewhat** comparable to mine (I don't think I could respect a man I felt I had to support financially). I'm an engineer, so that eliminates a fair number of men, but still leaves plenty of occupations in the mix!
