The comment he made about about N.Y. city taking five years to cover up that big hole in the ground (Ground Zero) and then complaining about how there are still flooded out vehicles and trash and debris still in the 9th ward of new orleans. Why don't that sorry bastard get off of his lazy as* and make his city workers clean that **** up. You know, if he hadn't fled New Oreleans before setting up shelters and busses for evacuations he might have a complaint. He ditched his own city for his own personal benefeit and now he is bitchin' because he isn't getting the help he thinks he deserves. What a Piece of S H I T !!!!!!!

Opinions???

How he got re-elected is beyond me. That is one of the most ignorant comments ever. Why doesn't NO do what Alabama and Mississippi did? They simply began cleaning up the mess THEMSELVES ! They did not wait. Nagin is lost and ignorant. Your right-he's an (__O__). And a nimrod.

Haha, I agree Nagin is such a tool. I think he has no social conscience whatsoever judging by the outrageous comments he makes.

He doesn't understand that the twin towers ended up being a whole bunch of debris confined to a very small space (only a relatively small team of people/equipment can work on cleaning it up, also keeping traffic moving on the surrounding streets slows things up). Even then, they were done with the cleanup stage within like several months. Now there are plans to build a memorial at the site.

In New Orleans' case, we have widespread damage that the whole city population can pitch in to help clean up (if motivated to do so). Some of my relatives went to Mardi Gras after Katrina, and they said some areas looked like there was no cleanup effort at all even after many months. Nagin or whoever is in charge of appropriating the federal cleanup funds at the local level needs to get his/her act together.

Because like so many poeple of his state, he is a whining idiot who does not want to take responsibility for their situations. They want to blame others instead of themselves. Perfect mayor for them

I modified my earlier answer after I actually saw what he said, which was nothing compared to what was described.

But people fell for it anyway, and rather than let facts stand in their way, just started piling on.
