Try being a not-so-good girl. i.e. buy some booty shorts and halter tops and flirt with guys i.e.make a lot of eye contact and smile play with your hair and, oh yeah, forgetting to wear bras and/or panties every once in a while can only help matters!

I had the same trouble. I waited. I spent many nights crying myself to sleep because no guy would ask me out. I had no dates but three marriage proposals by the time I graduated from High School.
I waited. It was hard. Then, I met my soul mate. Oh man was it worth the wait. I've been deliriously happily married for 11 years now. I adore him and he adores me. He's also handsome and sexy.
I'll tell you though. I didn't settle for some looser just because I wanted a relationship. I turned my nose up at the guys who were just looking for someone to manipulate and use.
Hold out for what you deserve. Hold out for a good man. He's out there and you'll find him.

Wow. How sad. Why would you not want a one and only? Let me tell you that at one point I was desperate like you and then I figured I could just sleep around and I could control my life. Then I met my husband and I hate that I was such a slut before because I'm pretty much frigid.
Ok, not really, but seriously-- you're never going to get what you want-- a boyfriend, not just a one night stand-- if you're acting all desperate.

I am going through a dating drought right now myself, but I don't sweat it. I would rather be by myself than settle for Mr. Right Now. No drama for me. So in the meantime I focus on myself...have fun and travel. I figure I need to be happy regardless. I figure Mr. Right is out there somewhere anyway. It's just a matter of being in the right place at the right time.

Quit being so hard on yourself. You aren't overweight you are beautiful. Myself I like a young lady that has some weight to her.....not skinny. There are terrific people like yourself out there. You don't have to be Miss America to get my attention or others either. Just be YOU. Good luck!

the answer here is to get over yourself. you are over-analyzing the situation and scaring guys off. basically don't put out until you are ready, don't get pressured to have sex just because you like a guy, and remember: you meet the most important people in your life when you aren't even looking.

i agree with your friend. you do look like a marry type and not one to go and have fun. if you want one night stands, you need to lose weight, be superficial, and be easy. put it this way: guys marry good girls, date bad girls.

If you want "dates", then dress the part! Shorter dress's and lower cut tops, a change of hairstyle may also help.

Have that problem myself...
I guess you just have to be yourself, and be forward about what you want. People are always going to assume you are looking for love (thats my situation) and if thats not what you want, you are going to have to SHOW it.
