Don't listen to what these people are saying..in your religion it seems fine to marry or love your cousin...and so it's okay....these people think its weird because their having different beliefs......anyway, i dont really know the laws in Canada but i dont think its illegal....
I have seen many people marrying their cousins and there seems no sign of desease or abnormal behaviour in their children.....and they are all very happy with their lives..
if your religion says its normal then u should not listen to what other people say...

You know it is normal to have feelings for someone that doesn't seem as close as a relative, however it is not ok! It sounds like you are young, and when you are young you look up to your cousins. This is not something you should persue - religion or not! This could ruin your life in some many different ways. There are plenty of other out there, and one day when the perfect person comes along you will know.

Sure I love all of my cousins, they're family.
But you’re talking about sexual love. The reason it is a bad idea to have kids with you cousins is that recessive genes in both of you can be dominate genes and cause major birth defects. So are you going to have kids or just sex?
If you’re looking for a long term relationship, look somewhere else.

Dude, I would advise you against it only because of the complications that may come with health if you ever have a child. Not to mention if your family doesn't approve that can make it hard for the two of you. However I wish you the best and whatever you choose.

Dont tell people you are cousins
first or second cousins will have no bearing onyour kids.
My aunt and uncle are cousins. They have smart kids.

Cousins can have normal babies. You have as much genetic conflict with a cousin as any other stranger in the world -- seriously. If you pursue your tryst, you may alienate your family and it will be something that you will have to hide from strangers to prevent them from branding you as a weirdo. It is illegal in Canada, I think.

Legally it depends on what cousin it is - first, second, third, fourth...etc and it differs in most states. The reason being is genetics and having children.
Morally.................that's for you to figure out but geez there has to be other people you could fall in love with that aren't related to you.
