well, christianity and catholicism share the same core belife. that is that Jesus Christ was the son of God and died on the cross for our sins so that we may be forgiven. I would like everyone to hear this message of love and see if it speaks to them. The differences between the two are diffent however, protostents fallow a more simple docteran of the relationship between youself, your fellow humans, and God. Chatholics use more traditional means to help them pray and worship and live there lives (such as asking a saint to pray for you or memorizing prairs). As far as im concerend they are the same by thier core values.

As far as other religions, I do not hate someone if they are a differnt religion. Their choice speaks to them. I mean some cults are just wrong but the main religions are all based on historical events and one cannot be justified over the other. we will never know untill we are dead i guess, or Revilation.

I think majority of people look at something from political perspective, such as how big the religion is, or I need to be in the majority group even though the majority could be wrong. they could also be right. We just have to use our own intelligence to find out, why we are alive, where did we get our bodies and eyes and ears from. Why our bodies are such super structures, scientiests can't make them. is there is a maker/creater. what does he want from me in return. Because, reality is, if u assumed that there is no afterlife, and happens to be there is. and u did nothing to prepare yourself, u probably would be in a very bad shape if it turns out that you are asked if u did the things u were supposed to do. u might say " I didn't know", and they might say "U were given intelligence unlike any other creature, u should've found out".
the end.

Greetings!!!

I believe that the word "religion" over the years replaced its original meaning. In the Latin, "Re" meant back, and "ligion" meant to bind. The question comes to mind, to bind "what" back??? The answer is simple from the Roman point of view... The binding of the State and Spirituality.

Christianity represents following the ways, methods, teachings of Jesus...NOT Paul. Not the customs/rituals, etc. of the Church (some).

And yes, in the modern sense of Christianity, it should be a "religion" ONLY in the sense of following the footsteps of Jesus back to His Father!!!

I may be incorrect in my thoughts and I welcome any and all corrections, thoughts...

Peace

Catholicism IS Christianity!

Christianity is the belief of the divinity of Jesus Christ.

Jesus set up the Catholic Church, even before the New Testament.

why should you believe in it. it has ruined more cultures around the world than any other belief by the order of the Vatican, the largest terrorist organization on the planet. all it is good for is a great tool for governmental powers to keep people in fear and keep them in check. and that is not right, no matter who you are. Christianity is not a religion, it is a form of control.
