first of all, board an airplane and fly to japan to learn the art of origami. after you have mastered this task, make a hang glider out of Sri Lankan balsawood with a 55.67-foot wingspan. fly to London, France at a speed of 45 mph from the air center in downtown Singapore, New Zealand. While in France, go to the nightcub called "Maximum Pulse" and look for a man named Enrique. He will give you information about his brother's whereabouts. Find his brother Carlos (who should be located in Paris, 2 miles beneath the famed Louvre Art Museum.) Julio will then call his friend Melissa, who's brother's roommate in college, Ted, is an pilot for the Air Force. Ted will fly you back to your hometown, and as a gift of gratitude you will make him an origami that you learned back in China. Then walk 2.3 mies, turn right at a 60 degree angle and walk for another 10.1 miles. You will find a lucky gentleman in red pans (referred to as "a guy") and at 10:03 p.m. he will look towards the sky and will see Ted's plane with a banner on the end, saying "WILL YOU GO OUT WITH ME?!" He will become worried that Ted is homosexual, and will look at you for 2.458 seconds then turn and walk in the other direction. You will chase after him, screaming "WAIT, NO!". He will then board a plane to Chad and you will then fly with a paper origami airplane all the way to central Africa and ask your lucky gentleman "will you go out with me?!"
Or how about this. Just ask him tonight: "Will you go out with me?"

Dear softballchic,
I have never even considered asking a guy out because I am a guy but I'll try to help you. First, you have to ask yourself, "Is this a person that I would want to marry?" Myself, I'm not going to ask out someone I wouldn't considering as a marriage partner. You may think that all guys just check out a girl's looks and go from there but I have to have some conversation(s) with her first. So apparently there is something about the guy you want to ask out that attracts you to him. Also, if she smokes or drinks, I would not even consider her!
So, getting back to your question, I would say just be straightforward. You might say, "I'm hungry--want to get something to eat?" For many are called, but few are chosen.
