In our opinion, it is impossible that God is real. Otherwise we wouldn't be atheists. Atheists their beliefs are not based upon guesses, because if one believes in the inexistance of God, then how can it be a guess? A guess would equal an uncertainty, which can only point to agnosticism.
I am an atheist too and my belief is not based on a best guess, but on a collection of observations and logical assumptions.
In my opinion it is logical to assume that something does not exist, until it is proven to. Elsewhise there can be infinite number of entities that are thought to exist, such as a unicorn and a pink elephant blowing soap bells, all behind perception.
This thread gives you a logical view of why some of us don't believe in any God:

There are, however, much more arguments to be found.
To answer your question is a complex matter.
Is it possible that my door is open now? If it isn't, then I will know in the future it wasn't possible. Possibility is a complex matter in a naturalistic point of view.
Something which didn't happen, doesn't happen and won't happen, cannot be possible. This was the greatest flaw in Aristotle's metaphysics and also in the assumption of God's omnipotence and omniscience.
No one can prove the (in)existance of a deity, as it is told to be behind perception. Hence the only thing we have is either faith OR observations and logical assumptions. Hopefully you now understand why there are different opinions on this matter. You probably won't understand our point of view, as I don't understand yours. That doesn't matter. I believe that a person's beliefs are mainly caused by a different socio-economic background.

No belief needed to be an Atheist.
Atheism is a category of a particular belief system a person can have, just as Theism is a category as well.
However, Theism necessitates a belief in deities, while Atheism does not.
So, many times it's better to ask the Atheist what they believe (or at least, what is their opinion) about the universe, rather than trying to guess opinions based on being an Atheist.
That being said, its possible that deities exist, but without evidence it must be concluded as likely not.

Neither one of us will ever know. Unless one of us comes back from Heaven or Hell and tells everybody about it.
Wonder why that hasn't been done yet. Oh wait it did. I guess if I saw a miracle it would present a bigger case. i.e. part another ocean, flood the earth, kill all first borns with fog, cram 2 of every creature into a boat, etc etc

I like your question. The problem with people who don't believe or reject God is that they are under the god of this world, Satan;; he blinds their understanding so that the light of God may not shine in their spirit. They are captives of Satan and the only way we can help some of them is by our constant prayer in their favor. However since they have freedom of choice they keep making the wrong choice to their eternal detriment. Sorry for them. God bless you!!!

Personally, I can see no possibility of any supernatural. Any belief in the supernatural is superstition.
You can turn you question around and ask," Religious believers is it possible that you're wrong, and God is only a superstitious belief" ?

It is no more or less possible than the existence of leprechauns, unicorns or a pink polka dot yeti in my attic.
But if you insisted that any of those were real you would be locked up and force fed medication for your delusion/hallucination.

Its possible, Its also possible that when I rub a lamp a genie will appear and grant me three wishes, but I wouldn't bet my life on it. I would say Genie belief makes more sense than God belief though.
