Hello,Why limit yourself to the people who cross your path in day to day life , when you can go online & meet who knows who. The internet is like a superstore for meeting people! Also there is the fantasy element- you could meet the man of your dreams too- there is a downside of course- the person on the other end isn't telling you about his flaws- unless he's honest & honorable.But you've got to play if you want to win, kinda like spinning the wheel of fortune-you could hit bankrupt or the jackpot.Keep at it but just be carefull...ok...good luck & have fun!

I met this cutie from FRANCE girl. FRANCE.
He came all the way to see me and he was fine as hell. It was on.
It didn't work out, but, I saw some of the signs that caused the break up, when we were still chatting. So it's not like I didn't know.
See, online does have some drawbacks. You know a lot less for certain about the person than meetin with 'em and talkin with 'em in real life, face to face. But you know what? Even when you do that, don't you sometimes encounter some hidden surprises, all the same?
The problem of hidden info is online and in real life and that's just part of dating, tain't nothing you can do about that eh
if there's nothing but douchebags in your city, then you may have fallen into the trap of online dating for that reason, and then, it's like an escape for you. And hey, sometimes, we need to escape
But if you think that there are some worthy guys in your city then... leave the house. Don't stay couped up by the computer. Get involved into some activities through clubs, the library, or church, where you're interacting with others. Then you might chance to meet a guy who has at least this same interest with you and maybe others. Then who knows, after that?!
sometimes you gotta leave the house and get over that fear of dealing with real people, and joining an activity is one way, and it's no pressure, 'cause it's not a dating service. it's just good ol' havin fun!

Ahhhh the silver tongue and wiles! Unfortunately, on line you meet several people male or female, whom want to do things to you, you do not want to deal with. As in life their are many strange and eerie personalitys. Unfortunately if you are a female-men look for young stuff, to talk the niceness, but actually are their for one thing and one thing only. Many people are taken unawares and some end up raped and 6 feet under. The way of people on a computor, seem a fantastic find, but in reality are animals , and seek only 1 thing. Many females are violated, because their so-called friend is actually a predater, just waiting and lurking to attack. Everyone is different on the computor, than what they really are. It is unfortunate that many women and young ladies fall to prey by some underminded, silver tongued, male. Alas, that is part of life. Not everyone is like that, but you would be surprised at the percentage of pediafilists, rapists, kidnappers, and psyco's that are on the websites. BEWARE OF THOSE SILVER TONGUED, PROFILERS! TOO MANY WOMEN AND YOUNG LADIES ARE SEARCHING FOR MR. RIGHT AND END UP WHERE THEY DON'T WANT TO BE! I may be an old man, but know the way guys( some) think. Many women are subjected to porno and other things I won't mention here. Be wary my friend-be real wary.....

I wouldn't call it desparate. I would call it just trying it to see what happens. Maybe you and others have tried other ways and it has happened or maybe you feel safer this way. It is safer in one aspect in fact if the person you chat to is sincere in what they are saying. If not then you may be in trouble or just lead on believing that he is what he says he is. Myself I tell it like it is but so many people don't and you haven't any way of telling unless you pay really close attention to what is going on. I wish and others the best of luck. Do take care.
