I don't know about you, but I need to see pictures of hairstyles to be able to understand how to do them. I am not that great with complete updos so I usually do the half up/half down style. It's really easy to do, and if done right, it can look really chic.
This site has some really cute styles with directions for each one. (The 2nd one is kinda how I do mine).

put ur hair in a sort of high ponytail curl it and take a few pieces from the front and curl them also (its easy, cute, but very appropriate for a wedding) HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!!(o ya u can do the same but with a half ponytail-u kno curl the ponytail and the hair thats not in a ponytail and still have a few pieces in the front curled also very cute!!)
