Yes, it is possible to have a relationship - you can be fat and date at the same time. What YOU need to work on is your attitude - really badly. If you continue to put yourself down & have that attitude & negativity, you could be a size 2 & not get a date.
Fat people do everything skinny people do - get boyfriends, have dates, get married, have babies - I should know, have done all of the above. I travel, go on cruises, bicycle, rollerskate, play tennis, camp, am a boy scout leader, go to movies, go out to eat, party,
throw down, dance - whatever. You name it, you want to do it, you should be able to. If you sit around & wait until you are skinny again, your life will have passed you by & you won't have done anything at all. That would be the saddest part - not the fact that you're fat, but that you didn't live your life.

I got plenty of bigger friends that have boyfriends. I believe the real key is the mind- what your mindset is will determine if you get a boy that's worth your time or not.
self-esteem- that "I am the baddest chick!" attitude- it starts on the inside and works its way outside.
My friend Vivian thinks she's too fat and wears a lot of dark, big clothes and she says she's not a "girly girl"
all the dudes she hooks up with are on the internet
when we would go to the mall, she never would go into Charlotte Russe or nothing, and when I said that Deb carried clothes in Plus size and they were really cute, she'd always make up some excuse. She'd say only such-n-such store had her size, and it was that going-to-work looking style of clothes. When I took her by there, she wouldn't even go in there!!
Now that's low self-esteem.
So at school, when we'd be sittin' down talkin, all the guys would be starin at me, not at her, and she said it was because she was too fat. And you know what? I had to leave it alone, 'cause you can plant the seed and water it but it has to grow on its own
My other friend, Nikki, she's got curves, and she knows how to work 'em! She wears heels, she gets cute clothes, and she wears make-up when she's goin' out. Plus, she can dance better than me, but I ain't hatin'! Anyway, that chick gets more boyfriends and junk than I do and I'm skinny as can be, and we laugh and joke about each other's mans all the time!
so it goes to show you, it's just attitude, man. plain attitude.

Sweetie this may come to your surprise but there are men out there that like chubby or fat girls, believe me i'm a fat lady. Those kind of guys are known as "chubby chasers", but not all of them are good guys, or guys that can have a real relationship. It is possible for you to have relationships all it takes is for you to have confidence. If your give out negative energy such as thinking your not pretty enough or thinking you just dont measure up then guys will be turned off. But...if you give out positive energy such as holding your head up high and always have good thoughts about yourself then guys will be attracted to that. I'm a married women and my husband just fell in love with me when he saw me. He said I was the most beautiful women he had ever seen. He said "What do you think I would rather have soup with just bones, or soup with some meat in it". Which means that he loves the fact that I have some meat. Don't worry girl someone will come along and love you for you.

I totally empathise with you. I really think the first thing you have to do is love yourself and build up your confidence. Believe me there are men out there that love fat women. As far as I'm concerned there's nothing wrong with being fat or even saying fat or calling yourself fat as long as you are using it as a description and not as a put down.
One of the most beautiful women in show business right now is Queen Latifah and she is considered fat. But, guess what that girl gets play from both sexes. She is hot!
So, I say you get yourself some sexy clothes that fit well, boost up your attitude, and really know deep in your heart that you deserve to be loved no matter what you look like.

I feel really bad for you that you worry about this, but I can relate. I was once a sz 5 and am now a 13. Guys paid a lot more attention to me when I was thin, but it was usually unwanted attention. The way I see it is, you're are who you are. Overweight or not. Not being that "model" type girl is just a good way of weeding out the jerks!

I do not think it has anything to do with size. It has everything to do with self confidence. There are a lot of guys out there that like overweight women. However, you have to think the best of yourself, because when you are not confident it shows in your actions.
Nothing in like is ever hopeless, you just have to say this is me take me for who i am. and if they don't then that is their loss! i am sure you are a good woman.

Honey - - there are large women everywhere dating, there are men out there that like bigger women, I don't think that you will have any problem finding a man. Besides that's only 1/2 of it, personality goes a long way. Good luck!! You'll find the right guy for ya!

I am 37 years old, 5ft. 7inches tall, and I wear size 18/20. I have always considered myself "thick".....lol....No matter what you call it I'm over weight. But I have NEVER been without a man in my life when I chose to have one. I believe its all about your attitude and self esteem. Get some balls, give a guy your number, if he calls awesome, and if not then move on to the next one, there are plenty of fish out there and you will catch one who will love ya forever! I did!!! Good luck

yeah! but any guy wouldn't want a girl with low selfasteem(i don't think i spelled that right). u need to be confident bout yourself, so what if you are fat, it's not really about the outside, that's the first thing people see but it's the inside that counts.i'm sure some guy out there will see something special in u! and plus, guys don't want all skin and bones, they like some meat!
