where can I find B/W film that will work with it?

No, there's no BW version of the Polaroid 600 film. There never was. If you still want to go the Polaroid route, there are lots of older pack film Polaroids out there that will accept Type 667 B&W film, which is still quite available. You could probably buy one of the consumer cameras on eBay or locally for $10 or less. Polaroid also made some rather expensive pack film cameras that used top-quality Schneider optics. Those will sell for a lot more, but are also somewhat rare.

If you scrounge around, I'm sure you can find a good camera for very little money. They're kind of fun to use and make a pretty nice print. Because you can control how long the film processes after you pull it out of the cameral, you can achieve some interesting effects. The grain is very fine, so if you scan a print, I think you'll be very pleased with the quality.

You can't Polaroid never made B&W 600 series film. You would have to use a polaroid camera that uses type 47 film if it's still even available. Why not go digital and convert to gray scale? Or 35mm film if you have time

Go to digital,, and lossen the polaroid,,, Thats just like carrying around those big suitcase mobile phone when you can use a small hand held cell phone. Whew!!!!

i dont think you can. but if you like a black and white picture out of your colored ones. use adobe photoshop 7.0 and convert it. there are a lot of effects that you can use to modify your shots.
