I died my hair black then the black just washed out a bit it looks just dark brown now.
Would it be possible to dye it a plumish/red colour? I'm not talking about the bright fake colours?
Or should i just go to the salon they'll bleach my hair and colour it that?

Your best bet is to go to a salon, especially since you have already colored your hair (I am assuming at home). Hair color is made up of tones and bases, therefore you need to be careful when coloring your hair. What color black did you die your hair? Did it have a blue undertone, natural, ash, etc...? So, you really do not know what you are dealing with. Go to the salon and let the Pro's take care of you. It will be $100 well spent instead of ruining your hair. Never rely on box colors because the color on the box that shows the before and after is not accurate . Henna is a terrible choice because it does not lift your hair color, it just coats it and it also contains metallics which can cause damage if you decide to use a hair color mixed with peroxide on your hair and it is very hard to remove. You will regret your decision if you do. I HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IS THE HAIR INDUSTRY ALL MY LIFE. My father owns several well known Hair Salons in the area we live. Please take my advice and seek a Professional Stylist. They even have Stylists that specialize in hair coloring. It is well worth spending $100. I wish I could give you the money to go. I hate to see you ruin your hair when there are people out there to do it for you. Besides, a lady can always use a day of relaxation!! Best of luck to you sweety!!

I also have black/brown hair, and dark hair is very hard to color yourself. If you don't go to a salon, be sure to get dye with some amounts of peroxide, which can lighten hair slightly or dramatically. If you get a "temporary" dye, it won't contain peroxide, so no matter what the color is, it won't show up on your dark hair, since it doesn't lighten it at all. A natural, but sometimes sketchy alternative is Hair Henna, which is basically henna plant blocks that you boil and use like hair dye. The results are amazing. You can get them at Lush.com
and when all else fails, let a professional take care of it, and visit the salon.

good luck!

Yeah, i would go to a salon. Just make sure the beautician knows what she is doing! one year i went to the salon and she had to bleach my hair first, only she left the bleach in for too long and i came out with really really light blond hair. I had to then wait a few days so she could dye over it with burgundy. I looked pretty crazy because i have dark skin, dark eyes, and dark eyebrows.

Their is an possibility of you dropping extra.it somewhat is using fact the chemical compounds interior the dye. in spite of the shown fact that it shouldnt be to undesirable. As for the discomfort once you touch the bald spot, i might wait a jointly as until the discomfort stops.yet coloring it particularly is thoroughly as much as you. 2) What color might in good condition me extra (see %. under)? Black blue or Brown pink or leave my hair? i think of black blue might look so lovable, and tournament the full scene haircut :]

Safe bet would be go to the salon but if you cant afford it and want to do it at home, the haircolor boxes usually have on the box pics that say if your color is..... it will look like.....
