Now Mouf...you know bad sex will screw up a relationship or a marriage. Sex is essential and anyone who says otherwise is straight up lying. I'm divorced and celibate now but sex with my husband was off the chain which is probably why he had several other women on the side. When I am in a committed relationship, I want to be able to share the most intimate parts of myself with my partner and I want him to do the same. I want us to be vibing so hard that we know each other like the back of our hands. If the sex is whack...mind, hearts, and bodies will wander off. Even when the sex is good, infidelities occur. But at least if the sex is good, you have that one area in which you can agree on. I have to say though that if the relationship is already on shaky ground, sex will suffer because, sex is very mental and emotional for us women while it's very physical for men. Women want to feel loved and appreciated. Men want to feel revered and respected. Leaving because of bad sex is a definitely high possiblity because if a person has ever been sexed good, they want it again and they'll try to work with a person on it but if it they can't work it out with that person they are likely to get with someone else. Life's a trip, isn't it...

Hello Mouf of Da South,
Yes, I would say so. My X-wife was just a mattress back, wouldn't even touch me, and sex with her was getting to be only work on my part. My present wife is so much better. It does have an effect on your relationship and your marriage.
If you are planning on marrying her and she's terrible in bed, she is only going to get lazier and worse in bed after she's got your ring on her finger. Dump her now while you have the chance.

Depends on why the sex is bad, but it does weigh on a relationship a big deal.

Depends on how important it is to you. If sex is more important to you than the person you are with, then by all means, run for the door. If you love that person for more than what they do with their parts, then try to improve the experience.
