Speaking from personal experience, I always appreciate it if the girl is up front about it...that way I know I'm not wasting my time, and I respect that. Just say something like "I'm flattered, but I'm already seeing someone right now", or "You seem like a nice guy but unfortunately I am already involved with someone else". You can always follow it up with something to the effect of "That doesn't mean I don't want to be friends", etc.
Just a couple of suggestions. Hope this helped.

i agree mention your bf in conversation that will let him know that you have a bf and the status of your relationship that doesn't sound arrogant if you mention him in a negative way it might signal your not happy with your bf and this guy might think he has a chance with you it might give you a better way of finding where this guy is coming from.does he like you or does he just want to get in your pants

Sweetie,There is nothing wrong or arrogant about saying I am already in a relationship.Just say thanks but I am happily involved. That's better than them thinking u are a cheat or a big flirt or a tease.U should be proud that u are in a relationship and that u are attractive to others. And simple say but I 'd love it if we could hang out and be friends and involve your bf to them as well.So they see that is is true friendship u want and not trying to do anything behind his back.good luck

Being honest does not mean you have to be arrogant. Remember, it's not what you say, it's how you say it. You can politely say that you are already in a relationship but still accepting friends.

Just casually mention something about your boyfriend in conversation. And honestly, as long as you aren't saying, "I can't date you because I have a boyfriend!!!" You won't sound arrogant. "I'm currently seeing someone" is just fine, stop worrying!

You could say, "Wow, my boyfriend is lucky that he's making me happy because otherwise I might have a difficult decision to make here! Seriously, I am in a committed relationship but thank you for asking. I'm really flattered cuz you're a great guy!"

It's simple... when they ask you out... you just say "Sorry, I have a boyfriend" The apology makes it seem like you aren't arrogant if you sound sincere.

just smile and tell them you are flattered adn that the offer sounds very nice, but that you are involved. If you are still interested in friendship, ask them something about themselves.

You just have to say, gently, "I'm sorry, I have a boyfriend." There's nothing arrogant about being honest and saying it politely.
