It doesn't matter about your age. You're tall, so you are not going to weigh 100 lbs. As long as you eat healthy food most of the time and you stay active you'll be fine. I'm sure you're beautiful! Don't listen to other girls because they take their own low self esteem and try to bring other girls down to their level.

I am 32 5'6 and 145 lbs - I have been about this same weight since I was your age. No you are not fat, and neither am I. I may have thought so when I was your age though. I carry a lot of muscle, much more than an average woman and that is why I weigh more. It is my body type. What you need to think about is whether you feel and look healthy. When I was your age, I was about a size 5, today I am a woman's size 6 - both considered small at both ages. It is all about Body Type. I know I will never be 125 lbs and I will not look like Courtney Cox, she has a differnt body type than I do - If I tried to get there, I would be unhealthy and starving myself. So - keep doing what you are doing - eat healthy and exercise, keep your portions reasonable whatever you are eating, and don't deprive yourself. Keep yourself off the couch - exercise and develop healthy habits and you will be fine. BTW - most portions at restaurants are way too much - I still order kids scoop at 31 flavors, and it is plenty. A 4 patty hamburger is ridiculous, these are the things that have changed in the last 20 yrs and why America is fat, be reasonable, a single patty hamburger is plenty, and these foods should be once in a while, not a staple in the diet. Notice there are no 4 chicken breast sandwiches available....

No, you aren't fat. Check out cool link on teen growth:
http://www.teengrowth.com/index.cfm?action=bmi
Your body mass index was 23%. Women should be between 20 and 25 percent. You should not be any less than that, unless you're training for the Olympics (and a lot of the time, those women stop getting periods because they're not holding enough estrogen).
You're absolutely ideal for your height. Also, remember you are going through puberty and your body will change a great deal. DO NOT DIET (I cannot stress this enough) during puberty unless your doctor advises you to. Remember, during this phase your body is using its nutrition to build everything for your adult life.
You're obviously doing something right - keep getting exercise, eat a balanced diet (including lots of dairy - remember, the calcium storage during puberty lasts you your entire life! You don't want to be a hunched over little old lady, right?). Just stay active. You're just fine the way you are.

nicely plenty relies upon on your body length and BMI (body mass index). i'm in simple terms 5'3" and my purpose purpose for my body is 126-132 lbs. also you'd be dealing with a boom spurt very quickly, and your hormones are replacing. As a lady that's not unusual to make certain more beneficial body fat to accomodate those issues, yet you'll frequently outgrow it. do not make the mistakes of having intense self pictures at your age. in basic terms sense good about who you're and ought to develop into.

Sweet heart I personally think your not fat. I am 19 and weigh 226lbs. I am also 5'6. You are only 13 and your still growing. You need not worry about your weight as long as you keep up your exercise routine and your healthy eating habits. Keep up the good work! At least you exercise and worry about your health, something many teens don't do. Have a great day! :)

Without knowing you or knowing what you look like I would say no. You are tall and probably have a good bone structure which is a significant part of your weight. You are only 14 and this is normal to be a little bit heavier, As you get older you will lose that if you keep up the good work you are doing. Remember the story of the ugly duckling who was really a beautiful swan

Muscle weighs more than fat. So you may not be fat at all. 144 might be a good weight for a muscular 14 year old.

"Experts have developed a way to help figure out if a person is in the healthy weight range for his or her height. It's called the body mass index, or BMI. BMI is a formula that doctors use to estimate how much body fat a person has based on his or her weight and height.
The BMI formula uses height and weight measurements to calculate a BMI number. This number is then plotted on a chart, which tells a person whether he or she is underweight, average weight, at risk of becoming overweight, or overweight.
Figuring out the body mass index is a little more complicated for teens than it is for adults (that puberty thing again). BMI charts for teens use percentile lines to help individuals compare their BMIs to those of a very large group of people the same age and gender. There are different BMI charts for guys and girls under the age of 20."

Sweetie, you're obviously very worried about this issue as I noticed you've asked this question 3 times.
I do not think your weight is too high for your height at all. I bet you look great! However, if you are worried about it, just keep an eye on it. I think almost all girls think they're fat at this age, I did, and I wasn't!
If you hold weight around your middle, most likely it's from too much sugar, bread, or pasta.
Remember our dear Marilyn Monroe was not skin and bones like today's models.. she was gorgeous! Her height and weight were somewhat similar to yours... and she fluctuated like a normal person.
For future references, take a peek at www.weightwatchers.com
Their CORE plan is perfect. It does not cut out any one food group, such as carbs, fats, ect. I think everyone could learn alot from CORE.
One of the best things you can do for yourself to stay young and pretty is to have great self confidence. You go girl!

you are a tall girl... I would say for your height, no you are not fat. If you do not eat candy or ice cream and excercise, I wouldn't worry about anything. You're body will change as you mature as well. In my opinion weight doesn't mean anything... as long as you feel good and eat healthy you are fine.
