In a PC-free world, would pragmatic people simply screen only Muslim airline ticket holders?

Imagine the millions if not billions saved. The only threat on passanger planes comes from Muslims, and we all know it.

This silly pretense of frisking your grandma to keep the apparence of political correctness is absurd. Every passanger immediately locks on to a Muslim when they have the misfortune of flying with one. Many people simply refuse to fly with Muslims and insist the airline accomidate them...sounds 100% rational to me.

However, its important that we profile or screen only Muslims, not middle eastern people. Half of the arabs in the USA are not Muslim. They are great people and critical to our intelligence community.

We want arabs to continue to enjoy our tolerant non-islamic country. Many non-muslim arabs moved to America to escape Islamic persecution in the first place!!

So, how do we screen on religion alone? I dont think its that hard. Either some type of vow could be made before the ticket is purchased or so "hand on the quran" declaration to separate

In a PC free world, you would screen based on appearance and characteristics such as demeanor, dress, body language and yes, religion.

We need to take notes from Israel. They have done a pretty good job at keeping their skies safe for fliers.

The vast majority of Muslims aren't terrorists, same as the vast majority of Arabs. This doesn't change the fact that the only credible threat for terrorist attacks against airlines right now is from Muslim Arabs.
The reason we don't screen explicitly for Muslim Arabs is because we're Americans. Do you think we need a better reason?

Unless you can show where every plane thats gone down was because of MUSLIMS, wouldn't work.

Terrorist are PEOPLE. Right now we're focused on Muslim Terrorist. Remember when it was Catholic terrorists? American White Supremist terrorist.

Maybe all MEN should be banned from planes since MEN are terrorist.

There's no way to screen only Muslims just like there's no way to screen only Roman Catholics -- airplanes don't ask for religious affiliation when you buy a ticket.

Plus, someone dedicated to blowing himself or herself up is not likely to answer a question about religious affiliation correctly.
