Why do guys honk their car's horn at women? Even if we are just walking our dog on the sidewalk? I have never understood this because it's not as though the girl is going to want to jump in the guys car (or that she will give the guy her phone number).

They want U 2 look.
At least a Look & they can judge in a few seconds whether U're worth the pursuit.
Bugs me 2, I spend most of my time trying not 2 make eye-contact when I'm walking the Dog & ignore the Horns.
It's holiday season so I've still got a couple of weeks 2 go B4 the Desperate go home.
Wish me luck that I survive without smashing some twats lights!
If they don't get the response they want some get quite rude.

Ha! It's so funny to know that happens to other women. I have always wondered the same thing! I'll be driving down the freeway and ride by a trucker and he'll blow that loud a ss horn scaring the crap out of me! When I look in my rearview, he'll be waving. That has happened so many times, and I wondered the same thing. What's the point? Maybe they just want to let us know we're hot, or maybe some women actually pull over and talk to the guys. I don't know, but it's weird, huh.

Oh my god! I wonder the same thing!!! I hate when they do that! And, usually it's the nastiest guys that do that. I wonder, do they actually think I'm going to stop in the middle of the street, walk over to them, and be like, "Hey, baby, I heard you honking at me."
It's so stupid, so if there are any guys who honk at women, and are reading this then STOP! It does nothing other than repel women. The only woman you're going to get like that is a hooker because she thinks she's getting work.

Yeah, I don't know why we do this but....maybe, I think we honk to let that female know that, Damn she's hott. And then maybe if by any chance we see that person again, we will have more guts to actually talk to her.....So, maybe we do it as an ice breaker, cause then we have more confidence because a chick can't turn you down when your driving pass her at forty miles an hour...

Guys are just following there basic instincts.
They see a pretty girl and want her to notice them. Forever hopeful.
Think of it as a compliment. In the grand scheme of things, that is what the "honk" is.

I personally think it's a turnoff. What the heck, like I'm going to give my number or attention to a guy who honks or whistles at me while I'm walking down the street...riiight!

Oh please be grateful.They are giving u a compliment. When I was young it happen all the time when I was walking around.I use to be like u and get annoyed...Well now I'm older and I don't get the hoot calls or horn blowing...Now I miss it.You know that old saying u don't know what u have until it's gone...I wish someone told me this.ENJOY IT.....It won't last.
