'92 Dodge Dakota 3.9L V6. 252K, original engine and transmission.

My father-in-law has an '87 Toyota 4WD truck with over 400K. It looks like the wrath of God, but it still motors right along.

300000 miles, 1986 Chevy suburban 6.2 litre diesel, tranny went out while on a trip last year down in Brownsville, Texas. I'd replaced the tranny 2 times and made a little pact with myself that there wouldn't be another... Sure enough, it goes out 1500 miles from home.. The original motor blew out at 195000 miles, replaced it with a Jasper re-manfactured engine at that time along with the tranny. That engine had a lot of life left in it when I parked the truck in Brownsville, I'm sure its still running down there but I left it shortly after it broke the 3 hundred thousand mark. Had some rust, that's a fact of life in Minnesota but it was a great rig...

I bought an 85' Honda Accord with 177K. It was genuine without rebuild etc. I put another 100K on the car without doing anything to it other than the rotors and pads. It was an uncomfortable ride across state I must admit, but for around town it was great. Also I never got concerned with door dings unlike my new car now!

213,000 miles on a '93 BMW 318i.

Had a used engine and transmission installed, but I had to sign the car back to the repair place. A new alternator was keeping me from 300,000+ miles.

All my cars are new every 2 years or so, so I never have to worry about how many miles I have wasted over the years.

Nissan Pulsar. Got it with 150k on it. Drove it to 192k, it broke, got a new car. Got sick of seeing it in my driveway, fixed it myself and sold it to my boss. His daughter was still driving it with almost 300k on it. Damn good for a really ugly, beat to heck car!! Cost $500, sold for $500, worth a million miles.
