I've been there... only the guy is my ex, and we broke up because we are so opposite, but what toppled it is that he cheated. I can't love or respect someone who cheats.
It's been over a year since we've broken up, and we've gotten to the point where we can be friends, but he still tells me he's in love with me and that he wants to be with me and he'll wait for me... all this blah blah blah B.S. I at first tried telling him in a subtle way that I don't feel the same way anymore (once someone breaks my trust and/or disrespects me like that I get so emotionally done)... eventually I had to tell him straight up that I don't like or love him at all.
Unfortunately that may be what you have to do... try to tell him in other ways at first, but if he just doesn't get it then tell him straight up. It will hurt him, but it would hurt him worse if he thought you liked him even a little bit and then later on he found out you never did. Good luck girl... and if you need any more suggestions just email me :)

If you are not attracted to the person and the person is not even a friend or aqaintance, then you don't have a problem as such. There is only a problem if he decides to tell you he has a crush or decides to make a move or try to be your friend. Then you have to decide how best to handle the situation. Otherwise just ignore it.

*Shakes head* I've had that happen a few times and unfortunately, they don't seem to understand that it's all about chemistry and attraction and with them, I had neither one. Those aren't the only factors that I have for determining if I'm into someone but they are close to the top.

Just sit down and tell them in a nice way, 'Look, I'm flattered you feel that way about me, but I just don't feel the same way.' Something like that.

It happens. Just tell him you're already in the friend zone with him and you can't turn back.

Tell him that you don't have the same feelings.. or tell him how do you feel about dating somebody who doesn't love you? He'll get it..

Do you mean like him, like him, or do you outright hate him? If it's the latter, then ignore him
