It has taken me a few years to lose 45 pounds. I still want to lose another 20 or so but the thought of dieting is just as bad as the thought of gaining.

If I do low calorie diet, I'm hungry all the time and all I do is think about food.

If I do low carb, I'm not hungry but I get bored too fast because there is no variety and a person can only eat so much meat plus I don't have enough energy to be as active as I'd like on low carb. I just can't seem to a way to live a somewhat normal life and still lose weight.

I have even fasted for 28 days in a row serveral times and the weight comes back a hell of a lot faster than it comes off.

If you've been successful...how did you do it. Where did you find your strength?

I do low carb and have for 2 1/2 years. Boring it is not because I am part of a forum that is very informative. It starts in your mind. It is not a diet but my way of eating. Diets do not work. Low carb only works if you plan on staying on this woe.

I will give you some links. http://www.lowcarbfriends.com

low carb is the only thing that has ever worked for me ..... and with all the new products and recipes it can be anything but boring ...... go online and try to find some low carb recipes ..... or go to a Barnes and Nobles and check out their diet section ......

Just change your lifestyle completely and stop going on "diets".

Eat whole grains, soya products, fruits, veggies etc. There are thousands of heathly foods to eat. You also need to stay somewhat active.
