Does Goodness encompass the pleasant, the useful, or the virtuous?

Are these the reasons that people behave in a good manner? How much of what all humans do is not part of these three attributes.

i believe Goodness is anything that is Healthy, Positive, Happy, and Right. all of them......working together. if u take Happy, people can say "but i'm happy having sex" or "i'm happy getting drunk all the time"..but that's not healthy, or right.

a lot of people are so stuck on what they Should be doing vs what they Want to be doing, that they don't realize that when those two things are same, most likely than not, you will be Doing what is Right. for example, if u want to be a Good Person, Wife, Daughter, Son, Father, Brother..... and u want to be respected, loved, admired, all those things... there are responsibilities. and that scares people, the possibility of failure, of not meeting up to those expectations and fulfilling the responsibilites.

i believe that when your goal is Good and Positive, u will choose the right way. if u always seek what is Healthy, Happy, and Positive, u will be able to withstand what is negative and bad...AND if u mess up, it'll be ok. u can start over again. instead of giving up and losing faith in yourself...it's really hard, but it's worth it to build up that confidence and trust in yourself, before u can seek it from others.

people shouldn't seek virtue for virtue's sake...they need to seek it because they WANT to be good...for themselves, and for thier loved ones. it won't happen until they realize that following those rules and regulations of what is "good" is actually something they Want to do, not something they Have to do.
