Mental issues with being an indoor cat. It's called "Cabin-Fever". I'm not being a smarta$$ either...my indoor cat did the same thing, I had to start letting her outside so she'd stop it. I started with a harness/leash so she wouldn't run away...then once I felt ok with her not leaving, I let her kick it outside for 5 minute intervals. Now I can open the front door and she goes outside and comes back in after about 20 minutes or so. Your cat really needs some outside time. I promise it'll get better, just be patient.

I agree with Krd. The itching is definitely related to allergies. I know this for a fact because my cat has allergies and receives an annual allergy shot. So, after you cat wounds heal. I would advise you to seek another vet, have your cat receive an allergy shot, and your cat will be much better off.

First...she is not wearing a flea collar is she? If she is wearing a flea collar throw it away and do not ever get another one.
Second of all she might be scratching her neck because the wounds are healing and they itch. You may need to get her one of those little plastic collars (Elizabethan collars, I think they're called) to keep her from scratching that area. I had to get one for my dog...they cost about 10 bucks and you get one from your vet.

The cat may have an allergy to something. My sister has a beagle who's skin is red quite often , because of allergies. The dog is allergic to practically everything.

It sounds like an allergy. Does she wear a flea collar? It could be the medicine. I'd take her to a vet.

could be allergic to something, could have a personality disorder, have you changed something in your room recently (new girlfriend or something minor), she may not like the change. There are lots of reasons. If the vet can't help you out, see another vet.

You cat is suicidal. You really should put it out of its misery. Scratching you own neck out is a terrible way to go. You bunch of heartless bastards!
