Sorry to shatter the illusion - nothing to do with security! You can see loads of military sites and airports if that is your thing. Simply a case of costs - they show the most popular (populated) areas.

well cos i am guessint that the satellite is only in one place so it can only take pictures of some of the planet but not the rest maybe

Certain places are not allowed to be mapped for general publication, like naval bases, army bases and anything else that could pose a threat to national/international security.

Because there are many areas which aren't worth the power output required to generate high def pics.
