but what about veal? that seems more cruel to me than force feeding the geese and ducks---at least they are fat and happy for a while

Sad but true, can not kill an animal to eat.

Lets all be concerned with what people eat, and let drug dealers, child molesters, drunk drivers and a whole host of real crimes go unpunished while the police look over the local menu.

I don't know what this world is coming to - totally ridiculous

I don't know what foie gras is but I think it should be outlawed in chicago simply for the fact that it looks like a french word and the city of chicago should be spared anything French.

Plus, ducks are much cooler than calves. They can do whatever they want with geese. Those beasts are mean and nothing like the ones in that "fly away home" movie.

Activism is all too frequently narrow sighted.
Besides, with all the vilent crime in Chicago, even the mayor was appalled that the city council was more concerned about livestock feeding than its citizens being murdered and raped.

Priorities, please!

eh to each his own some people think it's wrong to force an animal to do something just so we can eat it but yet killing a baby animal might seem ok to them some people don't know what they want they just want to piss and moan about something
