Interesting question: Christians have killed Jews and Muslims, why were they "created?!"
Oh wait lets not forget Native American Savages, Africans.
Disclaimer, I do not purport to attack all Christians in my comments...the above are historical fact of what some folks felt was necessary to do in the name of religion.
Also Christianity old suffered in the first 300 years of it's existence. Since that time, the religion has basically had supreme reign since Constantine chose to forcibly convert people through out the Empire and the religion spread across continents.

It is one of the fire we are proved (refined). God didn't let everybody perish to Lions. in the Old Testament Daniel had a miraculous rescue from hungry lions.
The lions that killed christians killed on a "for hire" basis. nero and other "emperors" starved the lions and then threw them Christians for their meat. it was truly the emperors and not the lions that were guilty of murder (a hungry lion must have meat). The Christians bore their suffering without denying Christ.
Why did God allow the Christians to be killed by lions? So they could show themselves worthy of heaven. Many people nowadays call themselves Christians; but, without true faith (as much a gift as grace) most would deny Christ at the first lion's roar, if not sooner.

Humans used the lions to kill. Those humans were taking advantage of the survival nature of the lions. Humans by their nature are sinful because they refuse to listen to God and follow his directions. Remember the apple thing with Eve?

The lions werent created to vicious and murderous, people trained and provoked them to be like that.

Because in the beginning lions weren't dangerous animals. Now that we have brought sin into this world, there is evil and killing.
