Hi, Im a student in the field of cosmetology,

Nothing can really make your hair grow longer. Ive looked. But there are things you can do to help it.

One thing is that if you straighten or use irons on your hair, like myself, deep condition your hair ALOT! I do it two to three times a week! Even if you dont have a deep conditioner you can use regular conditioner on your hair for an hour or more, this also works nicely. My hair became really strong after this.

Vitamins help too! Take a multivitamin and a vitamin B-complex.

Do not color your hair alot! It weakens your hair causing it to snap off. If you do need to though, dont forget to condition, condition, condition!!! Dont forget bleaching! That is one of the worste things you could do!!

Cutting your hair doesnt make it grow faster!!! All that does is remove the split ends.

Massage your scalp regularly, this helps with growth!! It helps circulate blood flow in the scalp, with premotes hair growth.

Hope this information was helpful :)

regardless of what anyone here says, hair grows on the average of 1/2" per month...some people a little faster, some a little slower. There is nothing you can do to make it grow faster unless you are prepared to hang weights on it or leave it in curlers wound too tight..that seems to speed it up a little, but not worth the pain and worry. Good luck

Let it grow a little, then trim the edges, then it will grow a little faster for the next month or so, then after a month, trim it again. It will grow fast for the next month. Think of your hair as like a lawn. When it gets long, it grows slower, but when u trim the grass, the root is refreshed and will grow fast until it needs another trim. Good luck ^_^

Scientist say that with in 10/15 years there will be no reason for anyone being bald who does not wish to be so. But for now there is little that can be doen. you can buy treatment which work on maintaining your present hair level but does not regrow. Any regrow claim is false.
propesia(I think)is about $35 a month in walmarts and must be continous in use. It also only helps a small number of people, and has side effectsi understand.

ok... take a very potent multi vitamin everyday... they also have vitamins specifically made for hair
also... there is a shampoo called Nioxin sold in salons. if you have really thick hair and dont want it any thicker this is not a good idea... as it will thicken and strengthen your hair as it grows longer faster. Just make sure that you get the "replenishing" nioxin that should do it!!! but try new and different things that you can do to tolerate your hair for now

Ok some of those answers are just silly. The only vitamin that might help you is gelatin prenatal vitamins don't help as much as we like to think they would, it's not the vitamins it's the hormones. But popular belief supports that gelatin is good for hair skin and nails. Good luck. And try not to ask for hormonal pills to make your hair grow, because that's just not testosterone... who knows what they could do for you.

Take B-complex twice a day and drink lots of water. This will make your hair and nails grow really fast. Also, try B-complex and Vitamin E.

Anything that promises fast hair growth is a gimmick and a waste of money. Just be patient. Try different styles with the hair you have right now. You might be surprised at how many cute looks you can have with your current hairstyle.

ive always been told that getting your hair trimmed on a regular basis keeps it healthy and makes it grow and ive heard brushing it a lot or keeping it in a pony tail. i dont know for sure about the last two tho.
