Honestly, I believe you would stand by her but if you are not happy, chances are she will not be either. My man has "stood by me" for 11 years and 3 babies now. There were a lot of good times in between and bad times too but ultimately - I can see him unhappy - loving and supportive to his kids always but now I am not happy either - u need to make up your mind.

Well if you wanted to break up, you must have a had good reasons but you gave in to her wishes and then you let her get pregnant. It looks like you are letting her control the way things are going in YOUR LIFE when you were not even happy staying with her. You could not make a decision to break up or not and she made it harder for you since there is now a baby involved and a lot people make the mistake of staying in an unhappy relationship cos of the baby. You say you stand by her because you feel responsible about what you have done.! If you mean getting her pregnant, and you had not both agreed together to have a baby, then why should you feel guilty enough to stay in an unhappy relationship?
How do you know that she did not delibratley plan to let herself get pregnant so that you would stay with her and do not break up?.. Unfortunatley, this still happens alot dude..

sounds like you think she did it to hold on to you. You would not be the first to ever be caught nor the last. Was she on birth control. Do you like/love her enough to make a go at it? Babies aren't always ice betwen rocks, they are usually the wrapping on a package. I gather you aren't ready to be a dad, most unexpected pregnancies are like that, Depends on how much you let your head and heart duke it out. If you aren't planning on running from responsibility, then you've got 8 months to get used to the idea. Don't be too quick to be discouraged. Find a way to explain with out fighting, you feel like you've been caught in a trap since you mentioned the split up and you need to adjust to the news. If you think in a cpl of months things are going to go down hill don't wait until things are too rocky to separate.

Neither of you. You are bringing a baby into the world with reluctant, uncommitted parents.
Why were you still sleeping with her if you didn't want to be with her anymore? Do you think she got pregnant on purpose? Do you have the means to support a child?

You shouldn't stay with someone just because they are pregnant! The child will sense the hostility, and grow up in a home where it's parents don't love eachother. You can be responsible, without staying with her.

First of all how did she fall pregnant? Did she fall down and sperm jump into her body? If you were not ready for that responsibility you should have used protection. You don't have to be with her to be a good father.

You're the lucky one - It's amazing that someone as ignorant as you could even be getting laid on a regular basis.

I would have to say you are the lucky one since you found a chick who would let you impregnate her in spite of your atrocious grammar.
