To Gays, lesbians, and bi's? Our world is at war, but for some that is the worst of their worries. I'm catholic and bi, yet I still walk into God's house feeling loved. Every day goes by faster and faster, more disrupted, and more reckless then ever before. Still no one is trying to slow it down, but instead they are trying to add to the flame fueling the speed more. Why does who a person chooses to love or go to bed with matter? For those of you who have the nerve to say that God hates Gays, Lesbians and even bi's, have you ever thought about why they are the way they are? I know several women that tried to be with men. What happened to them was not just them being unnhappy, but them getting beaten almost to death for a reason that some think is unnatural. I don't want to tell you to think a certain way. That isn't my job, but neither is it yours to tell people what God doesn't approve of. I just wish that one day we can look past our differences. Thanks for reading this.

I think people hate so that they can feel superior. I'm not gay myself but I certainly don't have any problem with two people that love each other, whether or not they are the same sex. Shouldn't we be happy for them? Isn't life hard enought without people trying to destroy the love two people feel for each other?

I'm just sick of reading verses on here that people pick out of the Bible. You have to read the whole chapter folks. You have to understand that the word of God, is not all the word of God. Paul wrote against it several times, yes - but the context, the context is just as important.
I am baffled at the stupidity of some of these so called "Christians." If you're going to preach, you need to get your ducks in a row. I will gladly discredit your rediculous statements based on my knowledge of Greek and Hebrew. It's like other things;
It's a sad fact that the truths of evolution are undeniable and oftentimes, Christians find it difficult to accept that it is possible that evolution is part of the creation process. World religions since the very first civilizations have created their own stories of how the world began, but it is our unfortunate disposiiton to be in such a new country founded on such secular beliefs. If you study world religions previous to Christ, you will be amazed at the stories found within their faith...they will look familiar. The Bible, being translated upon the request of King James brought about a new order of interpretation. As we do today, the laws, social expectations, were translated to fit the need of the time. In the same section that Paul speaks against homosexuality, he also mentions that women she not speak out in church, and many other abominations that nobody wants to discuss. A heterosexual minister with the Episcopal Church presented an awesome sermon breaking down the biblical passages that pertain to homosexuality, by this minister going over the chapter instead of reciting the verses, the bigger picture was seen by the congregation.
There are tribes in Africa where the male must have a wife and a male companion. Native Americans honored homosexuals and looked at them as special healers and/or allowed them to work beside the women in their daily duties. Ancient Rome, the nobles had young man servants who done a little more than served coffee.
Our ignorant culture hides many truths and understandings. You have to ask yourself, why do the most educated folks, especially those of the hard sciences, choose not to believe in God. Things to consider.
I will be glad to forward the sermon fore mentioned if anyone would like to read it. charlesboster@yahoo.com

I would just ignore them.Be happy,you only get to live once.If you spend your life in worry of what other people think you will never be happy.I think that there are alway going to be people that hate whether a person is white,black gay or straight.Some people are alway going to find a way to try to bring people down.Why pretend to be something that they are not.I'm not gay but I love everyone and too bad everyone can't.The people that say what God doesn't approve of aren't God,so don't worry about it.Be yourself.

Revelation 21:8 Says "sexually immoral , abominable" Romans 1:18-32 . The Word of God is clear in this matter . It's not my opinion , it's the Word of God and what He approves of and disapproves of is evident .

Really, huney, i wish. You are such a kind person. Really, people all want to be accepted for wat they are, very badly. I felt almost suicidal before... you know. I know that god loves all of us, no matter if you believe in him or not. You are right: why should it matter anyway? Would it not be better to be a person of your own gender, that you love and care deeply about, than to be with someone u do not love, and u can not love. Life is hard enough already, can't we just get together? Truthfully, i think that a lot of gay bashers are homosexuals themselves.
And please, don't hate.
