I work out 2 hours a day in the morning, and then i have marching band practice for 6 hours. I consume about 5000 calories a day, and eat about 5 meals over the course of a day. I eat a healthy diet consisting of nutrient and protein-rich food. I gain absolutely no weight whatsoever. Does anybody have tips as to how i can gain more weight?

sometimes if you starve yourself, you gain more...
you know why? because your metabolism gets slow. body will go to starvation mode so it gets all the fat it needs because you're not eating. so your fats are stored. carbo makes one gain more weight than protein. desserts can make you gain so much. consult a nutritionist so that you will be given a special diet.

Your level of activity is very high. You probably burn more calories than you consume. Yes, even though you eat 5000. Try going online and figuring out how much you actually eat. Yahoo health has a service like this. You input all the stuff you eat and how much you exercise, smoke, drink, and it shows you what you need to do to lose or gain weight. I have the opposite problem right now. I have lost 5 lbs in the last 3 weeks, but I still have about 25 to go. Sucks. Good luck!!!

What kind of weight are you wanting? Muscle or fat? I am hoping the first rather than the second. It sounds like you have a high metabolism. Muscle weights more than fat, so perhaps you may not be doing any muscle training when you are working out in the morning. Try that out and see what happens. If someone is there at the gym to help out, ask them what would be best for weight training for you, your age, and size.

Good luck in your desire. I guess few of us are ever happy where we are, huh?
