Well yeah but they could also over analyze and constantly think their way is right. Its a double edge sword. Unless you like it it could get on your nerves when they analyze you all the time and tell you what your problem is. I'm an analyzer and I know that pisses people off sometimes but its who I am. Even psychologists can loose sight of being amicable when its a personal matter.

HA HA HA. this reminds me of mine.... I always said i will never marry a teacher. Guess what, my husband is a teacher.
Careers are not soul mates. Understanding each other is part of love and whatever the career of your partner is, loving each other has nothing to do with the job.

every body who studied psychology can not be branded as a good psychologist as every person studied medicine and law can not be branded as good doctors and good lawyers. marrying a good psychologist is a good choice because he analyses, understands and solves your psycho bio social problems

I would say it depends on your choice. If you look at him as education prospect than answer is NO If you looked at him as person that you love and also he can gave same love and respect to you than pls go ahead marry him. Bottom line it's your choice.

Well, sure. It can be a good idea and a bad one as well.
They can understand your problems and help you but at the same time they might give you advice that isn't what you want to hear.

As long as they talk and discuss things with you like a partner and not like you are one of their patients.
If you are thinking about marrying this person than you know if they already treat you like that or not.
If they do, then you need to tell them how that makes you feel and that you dont like it or I think you will eventually resent them for it.
Good luck.

I just married one, and he is sensitive, but sometimes get depressed because of his work (he counsels drug addicts). A psychologist should have their own therapist to talk to.
