Well I have given great thought to your question and I think I have the evidence that will support the claim irrefutably that God is a man....... When was the last time God dusted? See think about if the world was a room and we are all nick knacks I think by now if God was a woman she would have dusted.

In the NT, God has a son. Mary is the mother. Therefore God is the father, making him a male.

The other logic is that God is neither for obvious reasons, but calling God an "it" would be disrespectful. Because men were valued more than women in ancient societies, "he" was a better term to use than "she".

Because society is gender biased. It wouldnt work very well for the men who were in charge of these scriptures to start saying that
g-d is a she. Furthermore, when the Jesus thing happened it made it seem more definite that g-d is a he since it generally takes a man and a woman to create a child - though i dont really have any exact info on g-dly sex.

Because He calls Himself this. Without exception, each and every name God calls Himself in the Old Testament is male.

The only female name attributed to God can be found in Rabbinical writings and never occurs in the Bible: Shekinah.

Peace.

God is a name given by people. "He" is also given by people. God is not mentioned as "he" or "she". God is highly spirit.
Chinese christians, also write for god with "man" root for its character.
People beleive the creator, the strongest, the supreme is corelated with man. so they said " He is the creator,........"
But all I beleive, the gender of god is natural, not he or she
