Eating jello and taking primrose oil supplements can help improve the condition of you hair from the inside out (go to you local GNC or similar store for more help on supplements or look it up on-line). Hot oil treatments and conditioning masks can help repair damage to the hair externally. Scalp massage will stimulate blood flow to the area and a healthy scalp help you have healthy hair. If you are noticing it gets greasy at the scalp but have damaged ends, you can use a clarifying shampoo and a moisturizing conditioner to try and resolve it. Be sure to work the conditioner in from the ends up and stay away from the roots to prevent greasiness.
If you think the hair loss is caused by stress, make some relaxation techniques part of your daily life. If all else fails, try one of the many female hair loss prevention products on the market today.

Okie. First of all, you need to check on the kind of hair product you are using becuase it is very important to know how your body react to the products. Everyone are sensitive to some chemicals in the hair products, some may have really bad allergies or reaction to it. I suggest you to try several different hair products. Also try professional hair products that you can find at Sally's. I reccomend Thicrk ( I think this is how you spell it, I know I'm very close)--> this hair product make your hair thicker. Also, back to basic or matrix is also good brand.
When you wash your hair. Shampoo it first, then apply a good amount of conditioner on your wet hairand leave it there. Take care of the rest of your body then wash your hair last. This is what i do every day. I dyed my hair many times and I always have good compliments how shiny, silky , and healthy my hair is.
Oh...Please make sure your dye hair product is a good brand becuase this could make a huge different on how damage your hair would be. Ask the hair stylist to use either bella or matrix hair color on you. I think you are sensitive to cheap products.
Lastly, make sure you are eating healthy becuase this can also have a great impact on how your body takes care of your hair. Get plenty of sleep too. Relax. Everything is fine. Hope this helps.

Hi, i know what you mean my hair falls out but my hair is thick so you cant really tell, But my mum is experiance this due to other reasons and she has tried many products, she was using pantene full and thick, this made an imrovement but no as much as she would like. I get products from Lush and i was reading about this Shampoo bar called New Hair, so we ordered some and it actually does what it says. It thickens your hair and stimulates the scalp to make hair grow fuller and thicker. My mum uses this with VO5 thickening mist and her hair is much thicker and she wont use anthing else now. As its chemical free and not tested on animals its even better for your hair. Id go to this site now and get some.
Also dont be freaked out but its actually a round bar, look like a red bar of soap, all you do is wet you hair and rub it on your hair and head lather and rinse, you get loads of lather and it lasts ages, longer than any shampoo. I use a shampoo bar myself, and there great i use Godiva

I have the same exact problem. I can tell you that dyeing your hair did not help. Also do you know if it is genetic? Both of my parents have thin hair. Also have you had a surgery lately where they have had to use anesthesia (put you under)? That will make your hair fall out bad for a long time, it starts pretty heavy right after surgery then kinda slows down after a few months. It could be a lot of things and I have yet to find an answer on how to stop it.

Baby oil will help with the split ends. Works the same as a hot oil treatment, it's just a lot cheaper. Buy some pre-natal vitamins. This will help your hair start growing. Biotin (vitamin, available at most stores) is supposed to help recover hair loss, but I don't know that for a fact. I do know pre-nats work. Try to quit dyeing, it does make your hair fall out.
If you are in your 30's, it could just be normal female hair loss. If that is it, I would suggest Rogaine for women. Good luck

dont despair there is hope for you.First of all you need to find the cause of the hairloss,if ur doctor hasnt found the cause,do some detective work of your own, make sure ur taking a good vitamin and mineral and have a complete hormone profile done up.Sometimes naturopaths can help in this area as well, here are some other tips.
1.) Seaweeds, help stimulate the thyroid and give minerals for the proper health of the hair
2.) Spinach is great for the hair, contains lots of minerals,as are all the green vegetables.
3.) Protein your hair is made of protein so make sure you are getting it in either animal or vegetable form such as fish,chicken,beef,legumes,nuts... and cheese.Or protein drinks.
4.) take a good b-vitamin supplement with biotin which increases hair growth.
5.)MSM contains naturally occuring sulfer and will make your hair and nails grow faster.
6.) silica
this combined with a good scalp massage with herbal hair oil will do wonders for your hair. Avoid brushing ur hair when its wet,and use a natural shampoo such as lamas chinese stimulating shampoo or Jason thin to thick.

Hi, Normal hair shedding occurs at an average daily rate of 75-150 hairs, nerves CAN add up to more. The average normal hair growth rate is a half an inch per month. If your hair was not thick to begin with there is no way to make it change to thick, but shampoos, conditioners, and gels CAN give it the appearance of thickness. As for the damage try using Pantene shampoo & conditioners,{comb coditioner through to ends, put a bag on head and leave on for 30 minutes}.Hope I Helped? p.s. I am a liccensed cosmetologist in the states of California & Colorado.

i know this sounds silly but it works, i have used this techinque for years and i have helped my hair stay quite lovely.
eat jello gelatin any flavor at least 3-4 times a week. if you do not like the texture of jello, make it ,and drink a cup or two before letting it set. the protein in it is very good for hair and also nails.
you will need to reduce your stress levels also, and try to eat a healthy balanced diet. dont shampoo every day every two days is better and use a conditoner lightly to reduce oil. you only need about a quarter size dollop.
good luck
