I went to a McD in the heart of Manhattan today and STILL there is no mustard. They have honey mustard and something they call "hot mustard" which is just a spicy honey mustard...but no plain ol' yellow mustard. I thought, just as a company who'd hope to satisfy customers, they'd have it available on request. Crazy. oh and hey mustard is good and low fat try it. yum.

Just because NYC (All 5 Boroughs) is populated by the smartest, best people in this country. Was voted the friendliest city. Hamburger should always be mayo only unless you ask for mustard. To assume anyone wants mustard is akin to communism.

Mustard on hamburgers? Mustard goes on pastrami, hot dogs, pretzels, and maybe a knish. I always ask for relish when ordering a burger in a diner. Only once, the diner I was in had it. Why is that so strange?

Usually they ask -- plain or with "everything", which includes mustard, ketchup, onions and pickles. Some places have condiment areas where you can pile on whatever tickles your fancy.

Because the people in NYC do things right and everyone else does it wrong.
Ketchup goes on hamburgers.
Mustard goes on hot dogs.
If this isn't the standard in your area, then move to NYC.

MCDonald items vary from state to state - even the menu itself has things on it in one state that it doesn't in another and vice-versa
