i don't want to go i have stuff to do.& have to get ready to go camping i feel bad cancelling on her though but i don't want to go..i went to the mall yesterday anyway.

I think you should go with her anyway. It will probably make her day. Who knows? Maybe she'll buy you something for your camping trip?
If you definitely want to cancel, tell her the truth. Then make a date with her for another day.

I'm not going to tell you what to do but I am going to give you something to think about. How would you feel if you flaked out on being with your Grandma, went camping and while you were camping, she died? Is a camping trip really that important?

Don't cancel. Grandma just wants to spend some time with you. My grandma died when I was in high school. I didn't care about spending time with her then because it was boring and I just wanted to hang out with my friends. But now I really wish I had. It is just a few hours out of your busy schedule. Or reschedule. Tell her you really want to go and set up a specific time for you to go another day.

Tell her that you are not going and stick to what you are saying. Don't let her get over you and don't feel about it. If you feel bad about it, you will wind up giving in. That is one of the main reasons why people give in to their family members when they don't want to.
Love is love. But you don't have to give in if you don't want to. If you do that, you will regret later in life. If you give in once, you will do it all the time.

I wish i could go to the mall with my grandma.She has gone to heaven though.You should spend all the time you can with her,she wont be around forever,but camping will.Good luck God bless:O)

Sometimes I dread going to visit my grandmother. But I know she's getting old. And old people need visitors, they get lonely quite often. Also I remember how much she cared for me when I was young, she taught me things, bought me clothes and looked after me when my mom had to work. Sometimes you have to step up to the plate of maturity.Try to do this for her, you won't regret it.

I don't know if you can completely but maybe you can post pone going until you get back from camping. Remember, she is you grandmother & she loves you.
