Having weird dreams or nightmares is common side effect that people have from a lot of pain killers. If it bothers you, try taking the vicodin a few hours before you go to bed. That's what my mom does to help reduce the problem.

Yes it has been years but i had bad dreams and irritabilaty was very short tempered when taking this . They now mark me as allergic or sentitive to vicodin and would prescribe something else.

It really just depends on the person. Everyone doesn't react to drugs the same way. My cousin use to take them and she never mentioned any thing about having any night mares. The only thing that she said was that it was very addicting. It like once you take one you want more, mainly just to calm your nerves and relax just like any other drugs.
