Only if you leave it in your hair for an unreasonable amount of time. Like if you leave the chemicals in your hair for anything more than 15-20 minutes. You'll fry it.

You should be just fine unless you will get your hair relaxed more than often. You should do it about every month in a half or two, depending on how think your hair is. You should not leave it in too long, which will burn your hair. If you still don't feel comfortable you should go to the hair salon and ask what would be the best decision for you and how to do it. I hope I helped and good luck!

Hi, i have been told that it can especially if you hair is very brittle, the best thing to do is pop into your hairdressers and they may take a look at the condition of your hair and let you know if they will be able to do it. I once bought on from Sallys i dont think they should of sold me it but they did, and when i got home and read the instructions i took it back as, i had the same fear as you. Get professional advice first then you will know.

This is a good question - it depends on the condition of your hair actually. if its in good shape, it should be able to handle a professional straightening (and i STRESS Professional) if its damaged from flat ironing, blow drying and coloring, there is a possibility of breakage. I would definately go see a stylist, and have a strand test done first (which is they straighten a small peice of hair in the back of your head to make sure it can take the chemical) Also, make sure you listed to what the stylist tells you! she's a pro for a reason - if she tells you NOT to wash it for 48-72 hours after the process, please dont! Just go to someone you can trust, and you should be fine..

After 3 or 4 years is definately safe to chemically straighten your hair. You will probably have some excess hair shedding for the first few weeks, this is normal it happens after every chemical service.

No. I use them all the time. A really good one is called ONO by Jerri Redding at Sally's. They work really well. Good luck
