Diet is the most important component of exercise. That doesn't mean you have to starve yourself though. I think the South Beach diet is probably one of the best for healthy weight loss. It's not low carb or low fat....it's good carbs and good fats. The only exercise he recommends is walking 20 mins a day. If you're willing to work hard check out Oxygen magazine. Lots of diet and exercise tips.

you can't reduce weight by minimal, and you need to learn to eat better and exercise. don't think of making yourself healthier and exercising by dieting. diets don't work. start exercising 30 minutes a day 4 days a week. walking is fine to start with and as you progress add 10 more minutes of cardio per month until you are incorporating 60 minutes of cardio 5 days a week and 30 minutes of weight resistance 4 days a week. during the 2nd month start adding weight/resistance training to your routing. you need to eat 3 healthy meals and 3 healthy snacks to keep your body revving. adding muscle, +cardio+ a healthy meal plan will rev up your metabolism and cause weight loss. make sure to drink plenty of water and green tea. eat plenty of brightly colored, high fiber, fruits, berries, and vegies, soy products, high fiber, whole wheat, whole grain breads, pastas, cereals, oatmeal, crackers, popcorn, tortillas, lean proteins such as chicken, fish, ham, turkey, beans, peanut butter, nuts and low/nonfat dairy products. you should be eating between 1500-1700 calories to lose weight and 2000-2200 calories to maintain your weight. you can't take a lazy route when it comes to health because it just doesn't work. good luck

Eat as often as you like, just eat smaller portions. Switch what you eat to low fat and low calorie versions or completely substitue a bad food like biscuits for something better like fruit. Completely cut out soft drinks as they are like eating a bag of sugar, switching to diet versions isn't going to make much difference. Water is nice, get used to it.

Moderate exercise. It is important to create a very simple plan such as "I WILL walk for 30 minutes a day every day" and stick to it. Going outside is very important as if you rely on doing exercises indoors you will give up very quickly.

No, I've been there. Once you start excercise you must make sure you eat only when you are hungry and ... you have to put as much food on your place as you think you aught to eat and no more. Your stomach will get used to as much as you are giving it, and you can still eat anything you like. Not as hard as it sounds., you won't even notice in a month or so.
