I live in Louisville, Kentucky, and own a 2 story home, plus a condo in Florida. I am a christian, my family has plenty of money. I have a wonderful life, full of things to do.

Get a life and grow up. Sounds like you need to get God in your life.

Hmm? Well, I lived in Tennessee and Kentucky for 4 years and it seemed like the Christians had the houses, jobs, and social lives. That is social life such as dinner, movies, plays, museums, music etc. Of course there were a lot of nice trailer parks too. I do remember the govenor or Arkansas living in a doublewide on the state capital grounds while the govenor's mansion was being renovated though and I think he was a Christian Southerner. He had lots of money and a big time social life though. Your hypothesis seems to be failing! Have you ever lived in the South? or are you just repeating stuff you hear?

You are so sad - Have you ever been to the south? We have more rich people and big old houses and beautiful places then you can even imagine. And I am sorry, but why does it matter what you live in? Why do you think all Christians are poor and losers and trash? That is so sad.

By the way - I live in the south and so does the rest of my family - I know a lot of people and we all have nice houses - for instance - my mom owns 27 acres of land and the oldest house in the town, which is very big and beautiful. She is also Christian.

George Bush is a Christian from the south. He doesn't live in a trailer park. He has money and he has a pretty good life. I think you generalized with the words "all Christians".

I resent that. My family lives in the south and they are christian. And they don't live in trailer parks. For your information they own 4 acres of land with a beautiful 4 bedroom home on the land. My other cousins own a 10 acre working farm. I may not be christian but they are. Stop being rude and prejudice.

Who gave you the right to say they are losers? And what if they are just Christians by name and not by attitudes? What if that is the kind of life they are happy to have?
Is money the only thing you have in mind to call one a loser for not having it? And just because they do not go to where you go, and do not live where you live, you think of them as lifeless people?
Come on, if you think you are better off, then why not make an effort to help as human being than blaming their Christianity for their poor condition?

Wow what a shallow mind you have! Let me break it down for you sweetie...my father, an engineer for NASA, my step-mother a nurse, owns a $200,000 home...LIVES in the SOUTH! My mother an insurance agent and restaurant owner, step-father a college professor, lives in a $400,000 home...LIVES in the SOUTH! My sister is a stay home mom her husband an engineer for GE, lives in a $265,000 home...LIVES in the SOUTH! Myself I have a dual BA, I work 3 jobs, single mom, live in a $150,000 home and I LIVE IN THE SOUTH! Since when are trailers so expensive? Oh wait, and we are all CHRISTIAN too! SO where is it that you have gotten your information? And if you think we are all such losers, explain to me...where are you from, what kind of home do you have? What makes you think you are better than us...??? We all make GREAT money, we love our lives and we are very happy...

a man or woman could be safer dwelling decrease than a bridge interior the South (or everywhere else) than in an inner city community everywhere in usa. playstation : Trailer parks are no longer unique to the South (even Malibu, CA has one or 2).

Oh you pissed me off now. Granted we didn't receive the label "bible belt' without deserving it. Not every southerner is a bigoted idiot. I suspect that trailer parks are extremely common in every state. I own my house. I am not rich but I am OK. Don't label us or categorize us, "the south" encompasses many states with lots of people.
