I remember the Domino's Noid. And the 7-up Dot. And Crystal Clear Pepsi. And when there were 3 chefs for Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Everyone thinks I'm crazy because they don't remember.

Oh yes! This question brings back memories of the Noid alright! I worked for Domino's Pizza back in the late 80's and early 90's when this was a huge campaign for them. The slogan 'Avoid the Noid' was everywhere. They had little bendable rubber figurines and other silly trinkets to pass out with the pizza.

But what makes this so memorable, was that I used to dress up in the Noid costume and hit malls and other venues to promote the pizza. Being 6' 1" to begin with, it made me almost 7' 10" tall in the costume.
One day, I brought it home and thought my two daughters, (then 5 and 6) would get a kick out of it. Actually the Noid scared them so bad that they cried. To keep them from getting too scared I took off the huge Noid head so they could see it was daddy.

So every time after that when they would see one of the Domino's Pizza commercials with the Noid, they would say "there's daddy!"

So yes, I remember it very well! Thanks for bringing back that memory!

Yeah, I remember the Noid, if he was still around today, Domino's wouldn't be much under the shadow of Papa John's, Little Caesar's, and Pizza Hut.
